    When we gave notice to vacate, we also informed them of issues that needed addressing (one of those was the shower hose in the ensuite was damaged and therefore leaking and could not be used), after several emails to follow up we never received any acknowledgement and therefore left without the use of a shower. I even raised it at the key drop off and all I was told was "yeah we received it".

    I would not recommend Care Property to anyone wanting to live in the Hallam, Narre Warren, Lyndhurst and Lynbrook area. Their staff leave a lot to be desired and as a tenant you will be treated as sub-standard as we're felt we were.

    Care Property Management is one of the only real estate agencies I will recommend to family and friends. The staff always greet you with smile, are very pleasant to deal with and are always willing to help.

    When we moved in, it took over a month to fix our hot water system when in the Tenancy Act it states hot water failures are to be addressed within 7 days, when prompted we were told the landlord was overseas and they couldn't do anything about it.

    We would get texts and phone calls less than 7 days out for inspection times, and when queried was told an email was sent, yet none were received. On many occasions we received them AFTER the inspection date.

    As a tenant care property management are one of the best real estates we've been with. Had a bad plumbing issue so rang at 9a.m on a monday morning they arranged a plumber and had him here and problem sorted within 2 hours, no hassle or fuss, great to deal with and as always very cheery and helpful. Thanks again you turned a bad start to the week into good one.

    My dealings with both Rebecca & Sally have always been met with care and understanding, which is very important. They work efficiently, are very friendly, and will always have your best intentions at the forefront.

    When they moved to a third party payment system we were FORCED to move away from our normal BPAY method for paying rent (fee free). The fees for the new service were exorbitant, when we asked why are we paying for this service and not the landlord we were told it's like a credit card, you pay fees, even though this is a service THEY set up to avoid having to do the administration themselves and therefore we were having to pay for the privilege. We couldn't go back to BPAY as they didn't "renew this service". When we quoted the Tenancy Act and confirmed that forcing us to change was illegal they quickly brought back the BPAY service.

    The cream on top was the fact we were charged an extra $500 on our bond to cover the two dogs we had. After reviewing the Tenancy Act and several other documentation regarding the laws here in Victoria, we found out it was actually illegal to request or take extra bond to cover animals. This is something I would think the agency should know given this is their field and not ours.

    They seemed very unprofessional, didn't really understand the laws and regulations of the Tenancy Act, their communications with us for inspections, follow ups and addressing of issues was very substandard.
